This was a small domestic air con install. Lee came round to do the initial site assessment and quote. He proposed a unit with a very simple controller for my elderly mother. The price was acceptable and a date was set. The team came on time and, by arrangement, not too early :- Everything was completed on the day and the site left very tidy - Mum was delighted.
Could not recommend more! I wanted an air conditioning unit installed in my home, and Not Just Cooling delivered excellent service every step of the way. They came out for a quote promptly, helped customize the unit and installation to suit my home, and had it installed just a few weeks later! I had several questions throughout the process, and they were always available and very knowledgeable.
They were incredibly considerate during install (masks and social distancing of course) and consulted my opinion when appropriate. In and out in just a few hours and even ran the hoover before they left! We thought long and hard about having domestic air conditioning fitted in our house and had lots of questions: is it expensive to install and run?; is it noisy? Will I have ‘big units’ in my room? In short, the answer to all was an emphatic NO! Max came out to the house, explained our options and provided us with a great solution at a very competitive price. When the time came to install the system, the team turned up on time and on a date agreed a couple of months in advance. They were polite, professional and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the installation. Although we have yet to try the system out in the height of summer, I can say that on a cold January day in ‘reverse’ mode it is capable of heating the house very effectively and what’s more, if it is a sunny day, it runs entirely on the power produced by our solar panels; summer cooling should be similarly efficient and will not result in a huge electricity bill!
We live in Carlton and we’re lucky enough to find a local company to fit our air-conditioning system. We did a lot of research before choosing and settled on ‘Not Just Cooling’ for a number of reasons: importantly they are based in Nottingham and close to where we live; they cover both domestic and commercial premises (a good span of experience); they are a well established company and provide domestic services across the East Midlands; finally they have a significant number of ‘national’ commercial maintenance contracts. On this last point, if a commercial organisation wants an engineer to travel from Nottingham to London/Belfast/Edinburgh, it’s probably because the engineer is a good one!!
I am very pleased to have found and chosen ‘Not Just Cooling’ and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone who is considering domestic air conditioning. Hot stifling summer nights will be a thing of the past and, if you have solar panels, the running costs will be minimal (even if you don’t I think the system only draws about a unit or two of electricity an hour).
